guitarguy168 : Ok we I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to networks so bare w/ me.

I live in Southern California. Last week i started experiencing extreme moments of lag while playing online games. I pinged a few sites and noticed I was getting an average of 8% Packet Loss. I tried a few things aside from the general "reset everything"

1) Switched the cables that the connect the router to the modem and router to my comp = Packet Loss
2) I pinged my computer to the router w/ 0% packet loss so router seems ok.
3) Connected my comp straight to the Cable Modem = Packet Loss
4) Connected different lap tops to the modem = Packet Loss

I called TWC and they ran tests on my line they said it was ok. They sent out a technician who also tested my line and he said it was ok. The technician gave me a new modem and I still have the same problem.

Anyone have any suggestions? It seems to me to be a TWC problem. I'm not sure what recourse I should take w/ them.
