In So-Cal, T-Mobiles network is very good. It was Cingular's (PacBell Wireless) network originally, and AT&T now uses what was AT&T Wireless.

Cleveland, OH		 the Cali and NY markets are actually a partnership of ATT and T-Mobile. Both state this all over the place. Especially when ATT and Cingular became one.
