They sucked pretty bad when i first got them but after a few years, they improved a lot. Every month for like 2 years, they added another tower or two. I still make a habit of checking »compass.t-mobile.com for new towers. It's a good feeling to know my provider is actually adding towers and i can look and see them online. (I think sprint does the same thing though)

I have 2 coverage issues still though. One being my moms condo in tampa. Poor signal and they have been promising a new tower for 2+ years now. And second being the cta subway system. I have not heard anything about that lately. I know at&t doesn't have coverage there either. Just cdma coverage. (I think u.s. cellular at least. Maybe sprint or verizon too. I don't know much about cdma coverage in the red/blue lines).
