Deployment Map - Qwest Fiber Optic Internet Service

Does anyone have or know the where Qwest has currently deployed this service. I tried getting this service for my company and my residence with no luck.

There's no map I'm aware of; it's dependant on which dslam was upgraded where. There are some in Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs.

One person can have it available while another only a mile away might not.

Would be nice if someone could start capturing which DSLAMs have been upgraded. Is there a way to verify if a DSLAM is upgraded based on a consumer reply? I remember there being a nationwide map for verify if a DSLAM supported DSL on dslreports.com.

Your best bet is to use the form on their website: »https://myaccount.qwest.com/MasterWebPor···Hsi=true

In terms of finding when (and if) you'd have higher speeds available... you probably aren't going to have much luck. You might also try using the form to punch in phone numbers or addresses to see what's available where.

I do not know of maps but there are internal lists of which have been upgraded and which are in the current pipeline and possible timeframes. That especially on the ones in the process of being upgraded is company only info.

I found a Qwest forum site that has the fiber optic upgrade information.
