That's a task I'll leave up to someone else. I was busy with a steak and some ribs, and widdling away a 6 pack of Brooklyn Breweries IPA. I would think cidada would sort of take away some of the flavor of the steak... :)

Yep, they're here as of this past weekend in Syosset and Plainview. I was outside grilling on Saturday night drinking the remaining portion of a six pack, and I heard this odd buzzing. Familiar, yet strange. I knew I hadn't had enough to start the auditory hallucinatons, so I thought for a minute, and sure enough...they are back.

Although I remember them being much, much louder. Perhaps there isn't such a big batch of them this year, or their predator enemies are gobbling more of them up.
