Pain To Cancel DSLX

studio1 : I've been a DSLX customer for years. Signed up over the web and switched from PACBELL (back then) because of better prices. Recently I moved to a state where DSLX does not offer service, but I have been unable to cancel my account. There is no option to cancel accounts on the DSLX website. I called customer service and was told they do not take cancels by phone - the only way you can cancel is via fax. That's a huge PITA. I signed up over the web, I s/be able to cancel via the web.

Be interested to hear from the DSLX_GM why there is not a cancel option on the website. There is a sign-up option and also an upgrade option, so obviously security is not the reason. I e-mailed "billing" requesting a cancel and all I got was an auto-gen trouble ticket that has a perpetual "pending" status. Been trying to get this done since May.
