Also, as a side note the KB article linked to above really should have new images in it since DSLX has updated their look.

Signed up over the web and switched from PACBELL (back then) because of better prices. Recently I moved to a state where DSLX does not offer service, but I have been unable to cancel my account. There is no option to cancel accounts on the DSLX website. I called customer service and was told they do not take cancels by phone - the only way you can cancel is via fax. That's a huge PITA. I signed up over the web, I s/be able to cancel via the web.

Be interested to hear from the DSLX_GM why there is not a cancel option on the website. There is a sign-up option and also an upgrade option, so obviously security is not the reason. I e-mailed "billing" requesting a cancel and all I got was an auto-gen trouble ticket that has a perpetual "pending" status.
