I'll have to strongly disagree with TELUS ADSL having fast download and upload speed. They are horribly slow in today's standards. TELUS should be offering 10+ Mbps long ago, but obviously waited until ADSL2+ technology is cheap enough for them to invest. Look for the CRTC to kick their ass very soon, although I don't trust the CRTC because they suck! |

@teksavvy.com | The rest of the world had 1.5 and 3 megabit service some 20 years ago. Telus's speed is near the very bottom in the entire world. Much slower than most third world isp's. |

@startek.com | 20 years ago we were using 1200 - 14400 bps modems depending on how lucky we were.
10 years ago most people still had dial-up.
I had access to 1 mbps service in 2000. |
