The rest of the world had 1.5 and 3 megabit service some 20 years ago. Telus's speed is near the very bottom in the entire world. Much slower than most third world isp's.

@startek.com		 20 years ago we were using 1200 - 14400 bps modems depending on how lucky we were.

10 years ago most people still had dial-up.

I had access to 1 mbps service in 2000.
