| reply to NICK ADSL UK Well...there really isn't much to replying to this post. I just wanted to let some people know that I have my Automatic Updates set to notify me. I got that but then when I click download, they never downloaded. There were two of them. So I went to the support links for both of them and downloaded both them and they worked perfectly fine. I then restarted the computer and was notified again but this time, there was only one update in the list and it was different then the first two I installed before the reboot. The update installed fine. Anyone else having this problem? Also, there isn't really much that could be blocking it on this computer. I'm not running AntiVirus, the Windows XP firewall is turned off and I am behind a Linksys Router. Never had problems downloading Windows Updates before and seeing how that last one worked, I can't think of anything that could have caused it. I guess the important part is that the updates are installed now. |
