@broadwing.net | Question
What do you mean by others scanning for your IP address? Are they scanning for connections in the area, or are they attempting to hack?
Thanks! |

| Just the usual post scans coming from other Cincinnati Bell customer IPs. I'm guessing some of them were systems that had been hacked or were infected. I was much more paranoid about that years ago than I am now. I haven't checked lately to see if it's still going on. -- Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.|In a Roadster club? |

| reply to bjf123 10. IP addresses are private IP addresses, you must have a cisco modem to pull that from Cincinnati Bell, the cisco modems use NAT. that is why you might see other 10. IP addresses coming up like that, that is normal. look up Network address translation and you will see. your real world IP address can be found by going to www.whatismyip.com |
