AWS/GSM Spectrum Clearing

Hey guys, one of the +'s with TMO's upgrade to AWS is that currently all the EDGE traffic occupies existing voice channels. Once AWS is operating (around Aug/Sept for So Cal and NV) it will free up all the previously used edge channels for voice; ie, fewer dropped voice calls. We have recently completed the install of 186 AWS sites in the Vegas market. TMO is drive testing and optimizing them now.
