Re: VDSL TV

I have qwest choice tv and qwest has been advertising some very good promotional deals to switch over to Direct TV on the information channel. I also received a mailer the other day with some great deals. Based on this information I concluded that they are trying to phase out qwest tv, so I decided to call qwest and ask. The customer service person stated that they do not have any plans at this time to discontinue the qwest choice tv service, but that they will not be adding any new channels to qwest choice tv. The customer service person stated they entered this new partnership with direct tv to be able to offer customers an additional choice for customers that may want my high definition stations and want dvr capabilities.

I am not sure what to believe. Does anybody have a definite answer? Does anybody know if they are going to be offering better deals to switch over at a later date?

Thanks
