My Dell XPS M1530, which I ordered a 3 year warranty with, came with LoJack. The truth is it'll only stop the stupid thieves: it is 100% hard disk resident, and is completely circumvented by removing the hard disk after stealing the laptop.
That is better than nothing I guess... On the CD cover it states that if they cannot recover your laptop they will only cover the cost of the SERVICE only!!!! What about my >$3,000 laptop?!??! I guess that's Dell's to cover... |
