| high latency anyone else with iowa telecom have high latency. i know i live in small town iowa, but cmon jeez, we are way behind the times with 1.5mbps max. i have a friend in creston that gets in the high 10's low 20's off his first hop, and mine is always more than 70ms. ive tried calling them and everytime they dont know what im talking about or what to do. has anyone else tried to complain? |

Tech support is clueless. It's actually gotten worse since I've got the line, so I know it's not just where I live. Online gaming is hopeless, and for some reason YouTube just won't wok, anymore.
It's either Iowa Telecom or satellite, though. I'm stuck. |

i got to talk to a level 2 tech support, the guy was a moron, and he basically told me they dont care about people that play online games, just as long as you can surf the web and check your email. he told me those ping times were normal, what a joke. |
