[XP] IRC Disconnecting Every 10-15 Minutes

I have no idea what is causing this, but my IRC client keeps disconnecting every 10-15 minutes. I have it set to auto-reconnect, but it is quite annoying.

Anybody ever have this problem?

I'm using a brand new home build computer on a wireless network, but I don't know if that matters because I've used IRC on wireless networks before and it doesn't disconnect like this.

It *only* disconnects IRC, not AIM, MSN, Yahoo messnger, etc. Error "Read error: Operation timed out".

Also, it says "[10053] Software caused connection abort"

Router: SMCWBR14T-G
Windows XP Professional
Asus P5K-E WiFi-AP - Built in wifi into motherboard card.

Thanks!

My guess is it's the wireless. Can you hard wire it as a test?

Still does it even though I'm hardwired into my router.

I think it's a computer or router issue...

I used to have this problem on my last computer, but I don't remember what I did to fix it...

I think I tweaked it per DSLR, but it isn't working this time.
