Hi folks,
About 5 years ago when I first joined BBR one of the nice folks in this forum created the Flying Dragon avatar that I'm still using today, even gave me a choice of background colors to choose from~! 
Now I have a special favor to ask and it's kinda tough for me to even type this. About 4 months ago Tiddles, 1 of my 2 cat buddies, went to play in the big cat nip field in the sky and I miss him so much and I'd really like to have some cat avatars. I made it plural because I still have Sockz and am getting ready to bring Princess home because I don't want Sockz to be lonely.
Tiddles, the one who has gone to play is a deep dark brown chocolate color, almost black unless he was in the sunlight, with huge yellow eyes. Sockz, as you might guess, is black with white sockz and white patches on his forehead and chest, and the last inch of his tail is also white. Princess is a gorgeous grey stripped tabby and she's only 8 weeks old. She kinda looks like the tabby with the red hat in the header for this forum.
Now I've rambled on long enough. I'd really like to have an avatar for each of the 3 catz or as many as anybody is willing to make. I'd really like it if they could be in motion somehow like maybe their eyes could blink together, or give you a sly little wink with that special smile that catz have.
I hope that I'm not asking for too much because I really don't know what I'm allowed to ask for. I've seen some of the great work that you all do and release for freebies in this forum but by the time I get there, the one(s) I'd like to have are taken so I figured I'd post and ask if maybe somebody would be so kind as to help me out.
I have digital pictures of all 3 of them if they'd be of any help so the avatar(s) would be really lifelike. Please let me know if anybody has some spare time they wouldn't mind contributing.

| Glad you liked the ava that long  , I would suggest posting as many pics as you can... and do you want all cats in one avatar also, or just one ava for each cat? |

I lost my kitty about 8 years ago, and still can't bring myself to get another one.
Just post some pics and let us know what you'd want, and we'll fix ya right up.

Dandelion - I hadn't given my request as much thought as I should, my only excuse is that it's very difficult for me to even post anything regarding Tiddles. I'll give it more thought then post again.
Caffeinator - First let me tell you how much I appreciate your 9/11 Tribute site or page. Strange to like and/or appreciate a tribute to something so tragic but I'm at a loss for words for what else to say.
Second - as for posting pictures of my catz, I suppose I should post the best ones I have? Or the ones I'd like to have as an avatar and possibly animated?
I know there's a size limit to avatars, should I use resize the pictures I have or ?????? I don't want to post huge pictures and at the same time I want to give you as good of a picture and resolution to work with as I can. If you'll let me know what to use that would be helpful.

| Hi all, I'm in the process of moving and only have my laptop which only has pictures of Tiddles, the cat I lost.
I didn't get any replies regarding the size of the pictures to upload so I've attached the best picture of Tiddles I have, hopefully somebody can do some animation with them. Maybe his eyes blinking, tail moving? Whatever anybody is willing to spend their valuable time on will be greatly appreciated.
One last thing, is there any free animation software? If so what would anybody recommend?

Hi all,
Regarding the pictures I posted of Tiddles and his dark brown color, he was a Burmese short hair breed. It's my understanding that the dark brown color is called Sable and it's one of 4 colors that Burmese cats typically have. They are also very loving and loyal to whoever they bond with. 
I really miss him, it's difficult for me to even look at pictures sometimes, but I know he still lives because he's alive in me. Thanks for the messages about him, they are much appreciated.
If anybody else is a "Cat Person" and/or is interested in different cat breeds or trying to figure out what breed of cat they have, below is a link to the Cat Fanciers Association, Burmese Breed. Their web site has a considerable amount of information on it for us Cat People.

Tiddles and I both thank you for creating an avatar that uses all of the pictures!  I hadn't even thought of doing something like that because it seems like more work.
I was thinking of something along the lines of taking one picture and making his eyes blink; another picture and his tail wags or moves. I make those statements without having any idea of how much work it takes to achieve what I'm thinking of. Please don't think that I'm trying to take advantage of the animators who put in their time and trouble to do things for the other members; or get alot of work out of somebody for nothing! That's just not my style.
I love this web site and am always surfing it looking around for "good practice tips" from the GURU'S. Unfortunately I don't know enough about any one topic to be a host, but it is one of my goals.

Yes I totally agree. You had a catz named Lizard? You said she was a tortoishell which is very beautiful marking. Do you know what breed she was?

I'm a firm believer that catz do talk and converse with us. You just have to know how to listen that's all.
Sockz, the only one I have right now, is also a talker just like Tiddles was. I believe it's a result of me talking to them. I also sing to them and tell them how beautiful I think they are, how much I love them, etc. Things that catz already know but appreciate so much when we tell them.
After I move I'll have access to my desktop which is where all of the pictures of Sockz are stored. I hope that I can post this same type of request and somebody will make an avatar of Sockz too.
It's fun to hear the input from other cat people! I can't tell you all how much I appreciate your comments and work.

You posted several helpful and interesting times in my request for help from the graphics forum folks to make an animated avatar out of digital pictures I have of my cat Tiddles. In one post you mention a cat named Lizard, or I thought you were talking about a cat.
I replied to your post and extended my sympathy for your loss. You didn't reply or even acknowledge that I'd offered my respects. Perhaps Lizard wasn't a cat afterall, but literally a lizard and I misunderstood. If that's the case please accept my apologies.

Lizard was a beautiful cat! I'm sure you miss her as much as I miss Tiddles. The only thing that's helped me is having another cat named Sockz. Now that I've moved into a new apartment, I'm going to get another cat so that Sockz isn't lonely when I'm not here.
