On the way from the airport in Anchorage to my brother-in-law's house in Palmer.. He took me down some back roads hoping to find a moose, and sure enough.

He was kind enough to stand there a good 20 min or so while I snapped pics (at 1:00 am)only later did I learn just how mean a moose can be.

Imagine hummingbirds with 16ga needles to poke you with,... I've been home 3 days and still itch and that was despite slathering myself with every mosquito repellent known to man.
