There's always a buzzy sound, and it usually will not dial out the first time you try to make a call, and you will have to try to redial sometimes between 2-6 times just to make a single call.  In addition, you cannot dial some of the 866 or 800 numbers, I found out because I had to call comcast, and it wouldn't dial out... I had to go back to using the cell phone.... aaaaaaaah aren't you sold on the magic crap???  ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/0"><b>anon</b></A> : I got Magic Jack a few months ago.  Plugged it in, went through the sign-up process, but it wouldn't work.  Spent a couple of hours on their live chat, but they couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work.  Tried on 2 computers here.  Then gave it to my son to try on his laptop.  Didn't work.  He tried it on a friend's PC.  Didn't work. MORE time with their live chat. Finally returned it asking that they test it to see if it's defective & if it is, please send me a working one.  2 months later, no reimbursement for my return postage, no new Magic Jack, no communication whatsoever, I got on live chat again.  Spent an hour & a half with 2 different people.  They were not answering the questions I was asking.  I finally gave up.]]></description>
