Is there anyway to upgrade Norton 360 v1.3 to v2.0

I have over 600 days remaining on my v1.3 subscription. Is there anyway to upgrade to v2.0 ?

Hi Stewey,

This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.

As long as you have a valid subscription for Norton 360 you can update Norton 360 to version 2 by visiting the Norton Update Center at the following location:

Norton Update Center

Select Norton 360 and Version 1 from the pull-down menus and you will then be presented with a page to download the version 2 update.

Thank you,
Mike

Thanks Mike the install upgrade went well.

To anyone else who is wants to upgrade from 1.3 to 2.0 Symantec seems to force you to d/l the setup. However you can find the actual file for future installs in your \Documents and Settings\All Users\Symantec Temporary Files

Hi Stewey,

I'm glad that your upgrade went well and that Norton 360 version 2 is installed and functioning correctly. Although you mention that the installer file is located in the Temporary directory, it is still advised to visit the Norton update Center to download the installer, so that you always receive the latest version of the installer.

Thank you,
Mike
