| kerio and MS update
Is anyone out there running Kerio version 2.x and doing ok with MS update KB951748? I haven't updated yet and hope Kerio is not having connectivity issues. I'm also running a Linksys router BEFSX41.
What exactly is going on with this update that is causing so much problem and is it localized with ZA? Does it also effect routers? |

like tuneraider said, if you are using custom-rules, you might have to adjust your rules for the local ports that are used for "DNS".. that is what i had to do..
before, DNS was using local ports 1024-4999.. i had to change the rule for DNS, allowing all local ports ie ports 1024-65535 to be used for DNS.. after adjusting my DNS rules, as described, my internet connectivity was restored..
i also use the CHXI packet filter and i had to adjust the DNS rules for it, too, allowing all local ports ie ports 1024-65535 to be used for DNS.. |
