anon : Search again this topic has been discussed. Use search options such as TA behind router or TA infront router etc. BTW, my h/w is identical, TA behind router works best for me. I have reserved the IP address of the TA in the router DHCP and I use QOS for that IP, all source IPs, ports set BOTH, port range 0 to 65xxx (also already discussed, search for QOS). I have put the TA IP in the DMZ.

anon : I have been searching and can't find information on my question. I just got the Dlink Dir-655 router and want to make sure the Qos gives priority to my CallVantage VOIP. My Telephone Adapter is the Dlink dvg-5102s. Anyway to make sure the Qos functions should I put the TA behind the router? Currently have it between the modem and router. It would make sense to place it behind but just want to make sure. Thanks.
