Re: Ban Encryption

I think it's only a matter of time before the US Government tries to ban encryption. It's quickly becoming the last measure in the fight to maintain privacy online.
I just can't think of any way they could ban encryption. After all, any computer science type person could whip something up that would do the trick. And with all the bits and bytes flying around, how would anyone be able to detect encrypted data over, say, a zip file or some other binary content?
