shadowfax : Its not available outside of KY yet, and I dont know when or if it will be available elsewhere. IMO, it needs to expand to other states, Ive not seen this much response ever to any other promo. I'm literally hooking up new lines/dsl hookups all day every day, as is every other tech in Lexington.

anon : Here in Lexington Kentucky I have seen this new deal advertised in the local newspaper and on one of the local tv stations. Windstream is really pushing this deal in Lexington. At $49.99 for any speed dsl and unlimited talk this deal is hard to beat. Wonder if Insight cable will respond with a cheaper broadband and phone package of their own?

anon : I am in Lexington Kentucky and I called Windstream back in April 2008 and they offered me this new plan called broadband plus unlimited talk. This is a very good priced broadband and phone package. Now the long distance is not exactly free they do charge me $5.19 in long distance taxes. But even with the long distance taxes this is still a very nice deal. At this time I have been told that the dslam in my area can only handle 3 meg. I wonder how long it is going to take Windstream to get the 3 meg dslams in Lexington upgraded to handle the adsl 2 speeds? I would like to get the 6 meg or even the 12 meg speed. My 3 meg snr is 31 and my atten is 18.5. Hope they get my area upgraded soon. Once again this is a very competitive new deal that Windstream has for Lexington Kentucky.
