Currently IsoHunt has available the ability for folks to use HTTPS. The same stuff that your bank, any online business activities, and payment schemes use. Snooping through that stuff will get ISPs in loads of trouble.
As for traffic shaping that is a different issue. The object there is to make your traffic look just like the massive Spam crud that flows across the Net. Which again ISPs don't do anything about.
