| [FireFox] Need help solving RSS problem
I have 2 problems: Clicking on the RSS icon doesn't seem to do anything, there's just a slight delay and I can't find any trace of where it went.
Second, I'd prefer a standalone reader, but none I've found seem to be compatible with FF3.
Anyone know of an add-on that sends the RSS feed to an external reader? I've exported all my feeds via OPML Support but adding new feeds is only via cut and paste. I've tried Omea Reader and have downloaded RSSOwl and Feedreader, but haven't tried them yet. I didn't see that they work well with FF3.
Any suggestions?

You can browse and select a standalone reader.
I use NewsFox which works perfectly fine. I click on the Feed Button and NewsFox opens in a tab allowing me to select where I want to file the feed.
This should work for a stand alone Program like GreatNews once you tell Fx v3 to use it.

You should also be able to select an outside program or like in my case Newsfox is listed?

1 edit | I found the Web Feed entry and now have it working with GreatNews. I did have to tweak a couple of lines in FeedConverter.js and a blank tab opens in FF for each feed I add, but hopefully that will get fixed in future versions.
