This is a problem because AT&T and Apple are trying to convince people to toss their old iPhone and buy the new "faster" iPhone in droves. For a large % of people this new phone won't give any significant improvement over their current phone(s)

Sammamish, WA		 The same can be said for most smart phones. Why call out the iPhone? And a bonus (for some) might be lower initial price on the new phone and longer battery life. Although personally I would rather pay more upfront and have a lower TCO.
