Interesting weather week ahead

The High Pressure area over Texas and Colorado is shifting to the west and dragging moisture from the Gulf of Mexico with it. The Monsoon over Arizona and the southern deserts looks like it will start kicking up very soon now. Notice the mass of heavy thunderstorms over Eastern Arizona moving West. It would be nice if it would move into the inland valleys but the deserts and MT's will see some of it. Unfortunately there will be a lot of dry lighting coming in with it.

* At 403 pm pdt.Natl weather svc doppler radar indicated a
severe thunderstorm capable of producing nickel size hail.And
damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located 12 miles
no. Of mtn pass.Or 6 miles west of primm.& Was moving
so. At 10 mph.

* Locations impacted include.Mountain pass.

This is a dangerous storm. If you are in its path.Prepare
immediately for damaging winds.Destructive hail.& Deadly cloud
to ground lightning. People outside should move to a shelter.
Preferably inside a strong building but away from windows.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1000 pm pdt
