Thanks KachiWachi - that was what I was looking for. Too bad Verizon support doesn't know that. I had a feeling that email was being displayed as text only. I think my friend's solution is to install an email client and use Verizon's POP server. |

Thanks. |

| I am trying to help a friend who has Verizon DSL and gets their email via Verizon's web site (no POP server is used and no email client is installed).
I sent her an email with a link to my web page. The link displayed in the email as plain text and was not clickable. Looking at her email "options" I see no place to change the way email displays links (i.e., no option such as "text" or "html" email).
We contacted Verizon support and after 1/2 hour of Verizon tech support trying multiple things - they gave up and the issue still exists.
I don't believe it is anything with the PC or IE. since I can go to my YAHOO! email via the web and links display properly in email there.
Has anyone else seen this? What was the fix? |
