Goo day, all!
Has anyone had any experience with Netgear's Powerline Ethernet Adapters?
I haven't found any recent reviews here or at cnet.com, pcmag.com and smallnetbuilder.com.
Thanx, apachecat |

| I have used the powerline wireless range extender pair. At the time I did not realize I was buying that instead of powerline ethernet adapters.
But it came in handy for my boss' home which seems to block wireless between main floor and basement of a ranch home. He was using cable with the ethernet module at cable modem in main floor bedroom doing NAT and AP module in basement office.
He now got DSL but could hardly get a signal from wireless/modem/router in basement office to main floor without the range extender. So I switched the range extender to AP mode with same SSID/security as the modem on a different channel, plugged that in, and now he has excellent signal on both floors. And if he needs a stronger signal somewhere else he can just move the AP module. Works great. |
