I love it. That is, if you overlook the mushroom cloud of all the newsgroups getting nuked. -- Never knock on Death's door. Ring the bell and run, he hates that. |

  Fuck ATT
@bellsouth.net | reply to charlie92 Nice! Now I can officially quit the internet. Guess you don't like money, huh AT&T? |

| reply to charlie92 Absolutely totally stinks! They've devalued their entire Internet offering and of course haven't lowered the price to compensate.
Quite a reversal, too, from a few years ago and the launch of "BellSouth newsgroups" to reaffirm being committed to offering newsgroup service with DSL. |

| reply to charlie92 This is upsetting as it appears that in the filter process, they are getting rid of LEGITIMATE newsgroups. I decided this was enough, so I joined Newsdemon as my Newsgroups provider now. For all of you that are interested, they're offering 15% off FOR LIFE for anyone that is interested as an ATT/Comcast/Time Warner refugee. »www.newsdemon.com/blog/2008/07/1···and-att/ |

| reply to charlie92 And so it has begun.........
I knew when ATT took over that everything would turn to mountains of fresh cow manure.
The first thing I noticed was that some nut-jockey had been messing around with my DSL connection.
Look forward to more crap.
And have fun, kiddies

| reply to yzor said by yzor :Does comcast still have news groups? Not exactly. They outsource to giganews and you get 2 GB per month free. I think I remember reading in their forum a couple of years back that there was a loophole that the 2GB applied per email address. So if you created the maximum allowed per account, you would get a higher monthly limit. No idea if that loophole was ever closed. |
