| [Connection] I've been having problems for about a month.
My net seems to drop about every 20 for approx. 10 minutes at a shot. Sometimes I can keep a stable connection for hours. Sometimes my connection drops and the lights on the modem all stay lit up and sometimes the Recieve is just blinking. I've had no problems for months before this.
I've tried to remedy this my self by running an all new cable line to my Modem from the entry point in the house. That didnt help. I also bought a Motorola Signal Booster and that didnt help either, so I unhooked it. I've tried keepin my comp directly connected to the Modem that didnt help either. I've tried rebooting my modem many times.. doenst help.

| If you're renting the modem, try swapping it out to see if that changes anything. Even if it's bought, it's probably worth the $3 to have a rented one tossed on and provisioned to check.
Other than that, your downstream is right where it needs to be although your upstream is a bit high. Although I've seen higher work without hitches. Removing any unneeded splitters will knock down your upstream a bit getting it closer to ~45 ideally. |

The upstream is pretty high, and the logs show you loosing sync. if as tknp said you can't tighten connections or remove a splitter or 2, you'll need to call CC, and maybe have a tech visit.
changes in signal strength are not unusual this time of year due to the wide tempature swings in most areas. |

Yeah I was thinkin about just getting another modem. We have been having thunderstorms here lately. Maybe it got fried. I called comcast last week and they said that nobody else was having problems in my area. I'm on vacation this week so its bothering me more than usual. |
