Re: Big Fat Hairy Deal! Why would you want fewer competitors in the market? Comcast.net, oh, that makes sense now. |

Dish is dying and nothing they do will prevent it. I will be the first to dance on their grave when they DO die. Whether they die or not makes no difference to me. However, Dish's Channel lineup, picture quality and price is multiple times better than comcast. Comcats's HD offering borders on consumer fraud, IMO. |

1 edit | reply to Dadadadah Leave it to an anonymous cable troll who probably never had Dish to post a negative comment about them.
I have had Dish for over 10 years and never had any major problems with them. Their HD content is getting better and the PQ is great. Did I mention Dish costs less than Brighthouse for the same packages as well?
I was stuck with TW cable TV for a year before we bought our house and every time we got a major thunderstorm, the cable went out and almost always required a truck roll to fix.
I'll take Dish over cable even if I could get cable for free. -- Always Reach Beyond Your Grasp |

lightzoutPremium join:2005-07-29 San Anselmo, CA | reply to badtrip What happened to Comcast's HD? I rarely watch TV but when I discovered the great HD nature shows, full length movies and concerts on the HD channels I started spending more time trying to find programming that actually delivered amazing HDTV content I couldn't see anywhere else. Now Comcast has twice the number of channels but the indie hdtv exclusive proframming is gone and all the new channels are merely simulcasting the network fodder. If Dish carries the great sunrise earth type shows I used to watch and it is an option at my house I will have to look into it further. Comcast has no HDTV of any interest to me so I will stop paying extra until they bring back the cool stuff. |

1 edit | reply to Transmaster Most Dish customers don't complain, The Service works and looks good, But then from what I've read, Comcast would never get My business, Even TWCs picture is most likely better, maybe.
And yes, I'm a Happy Dish Network Customer, If Dish went I'd go to Direct TV over Cable any day. |
