EVDO is much larger

This is not really a valid statement as 1) Clearewire is currently using pre-WiMAX, which is not faster than EVDO and 2) coverage and user base are much smaller than EVDO.

Sprint has the largest 3G coverage when including Alltel roaming and Verizon also have huge 3G coverage. Sprint also has over 2m EVDO laptop card users. Verizon has way more 3G EVDO phone users.

Actually the Pre-Wimax Clearwire is way faster than EVDO, It just lacks the coverage. I'm getting 2 megs down...

I've gotten over 2.5Mbps on EVDO. Many on evdomaps.com have also.
