It was a lot cooler here today in Redwood Valley at 86, highs will be in the mid to upper 80's with lows in the low to mid 50's here for the next few days, right on target for us this time of year. We got our normal nightly, onshore flow from the ocean back, it is so nice after the past week in the upper 90's and low 100's, I hate that kind of heat!

McCloud is north of Dunsmuir (north of Lake Shasta) up I-5, located on Rt 89 east of I-5. A spot in rural NorCal with some broadband if you live on the right street.
We finally got an onshore wind blowing the smoke back to Reno and Fresno starting Friday and the marine layer dropped the temps from 107 to high 80s/low 90s. |

I came home from Vegas, went straight out to Dillon Beach on Tomales bay to camp. So nice and cool, no smoke. Long walks on the beach, long naps, watched the guy next door fillet 2 halibut and an Angel shark; a good weekend......
Then I went to work this morning and ruined it.... |
