Orlando, FL | Cramming too much in! Dish is cramming too much stuff on their current Sats. Hopefully their next launch is successful cause PQ will suffer.
DirecTV though has D11 in space and will be operational around the end of the month, after its done gallivanting at 101 testing its BSS stuff.
D12 will probably be launching next year too so the capacity only increases.
I personally love my DirecTV service and its interface. Many complain about the HD DVR but just wait for all the new features coming that the Cutting Edge testers like my self get to use. Also its been stated that the DVRs are getting a new GUI anyway if you dont like the current one.
Dish will get everything straight though with their HD, one a new Sat comes up.
Then by the end of 09 HD wont be a competition anymore(aside from the sports on DirecTV and Movies on Dish) with satellite TV as things will even out. So everyone wins! |
