[Beginner] Fusion blocking ports?

So here is my delema. My friend and I play a very old game together which only works on windows (Heroes 3 Complete). We installed Fusion and installed it on both of the computers. It works fine over LAN no matter what network settings we use (bridged or NAT).

HOWEVER. Once he got home and he tried to connect to my IP to play, he could not connect. I had my computer set as the default host on my APE (Which *is* DMZ, correct?). Now, I had the bridged IP of the VM in there vs. my actual computer (Mine was 10.0.1.200, Bridged was 10.0.1.195). I tried both, no go, I tried switching it to NAT and using the .200 address, no go.

Windows Firewall is not the issue either. Has anyone else had this problem with Fusion, and/or have any solution for this?

Re: [Beginner] Fusion blocking ports?

Set fusion to use "Connect to physical network (Bridge)", then open the proper ports on the router to the fusion IP address (which it seems like you did). I never trust the DMZ option on low/mid-class routers. It never works for me. I manually open the port numbers.
