Dish? not for me

when we moved we thought we would try dish. i was not at home when they came to install so the put the dish in the middle of the yard and aimed it at a tree (oak, no leaves, middle of winter). guess what happened in the spring when it got leaves and it rained or there was a heavy dew. no picture. repeated calls to dish resulted in "it will cost 250$ for us to come move it". now i had ALL the channels that were offered at the time and a unit in 5 rooms. sooo, hello directv...ok we'll be out tomorrow. DTV placed the dish in a location out of the way and got a perfect signal. Hello dish, cancel my subscription to your service. why? you know. oh, we'll come move the dish - no charge. ok - move it to your truck along with all your receivers - they're out under the carport. Dish? my opinion it sucks. Long Live DirecTv!!!

Depends on the installer not the company.
