NBG334W - computer disconnects with DHCP renew

I've been having a problem with my computer losing my Internet connection through the new ZyXEL NBG334W, firmware version V3.60(AMS.2) | 11/05/2007. (The computer is hooked up to it via the LAN and the WLAN is not in use. Also, I use the "reserve" feature to have the router assign a static IP to the computer via its DHCP server.) It happens very infrequently and I've suspected it happens when the computer renews its IP lease through the router via DHCP. I often use Remote Desktop and sometimes other software including games which also require a constant connection.

I was at work this morning running Remote Desktop when I lost connection. I took a look at the IP lease and was able to confirm that is what more than likely caused the disconnection. This is one of the problems I had on my old Linksys router causing me to stop using it as a DHCP server and go static. I don't think this is the way it's supposed to work, though, because some Linksys routers with some firmware versions operated properly and the connection wasn't lost during lease renewal.

Is this a known problem with this particular router? Does anyone have any thoughts on this phenomenon?
