Isn't that the total opposite over what most religious right politicians do? I thought that most were against abortion while they are for the death penalty. | Catholics are not generally part of the evangelical far-right (although there have been Catholic movements on both the far-right and the radical left...But Catholics are like Jews in that they are intelligent enough to reject that hum-drum about the world being a 6,000 year-old tabernacle enclosed by a dome) and the death penalty is opposed by the Roman Catholic Church. |
