| Love It (8 Years +) Had Directv and Dish. Love Dish. Equipment works, firmware still being updated - even in old receivers. Price is fair and selection is great. I won't bash Directv becuase it's been a long time since I have had them, and they may have improved. The site still looks the same, very cable like. Introductory price / and real price. Dish is still, this is what it is, this is what it costs, done.
Family members have cable - yikes. I guess they just are buying into the ads with weather problems. All I know is, we have bad weather, the cable goes out, my satellite still works. Must be the couple miles above the earth thing, doesn't seem to be bothered by trees falling on cable lines.
So they are at 95 or 100, whatever. Even if it is only 95, they will all work with the same quality and modern menus - not the Atari version. Plus, the year aint over yet. Say what you want, Im keeping my dish. Good luck tomorrow Echostar XI / Sea Launch team!
