It's a supply issue. Not a demand issue. Watch over the next month and see what the tallies are. I bet it will nearly double worldwide.
Also, given the fact that there were already over a million iphones out there and that this largely represented new customers buying in the U.S., I'd say there doing pretty darn well. Show me *any* other phone by any other manufacturer that cleared a million units worldwide in its first 3 days of launching. |

Maybe not but Apple already smokes all Windows Mobile devices combined in US sales and now they're gunning for RIM. Apple isn't in the shitty free phone with every pack of smokes market, they're in the smartphone market. |
