I notice none of the previous responders are from the state in question, Vermont. As a long time sufferer let me just say ANY form of DSL would be an improvement over the State's idea of broadband, i.e. Wireless from Great Auk Wireless. It averages 10-20% packet loss and is useless for VOIP or streaming video and for that service you pay about the same cost as satellite - $500 for installation & equipment and $50/month for 740 up and 250 down. They are carpetbaggers at best. DSL would be a GREAT improvement!!! |
