Yep, Now I just have to pray that they open ordering for Manorhaven before the NYC people have booked every installation appointment between now and Xmas. Why NYC was allowed to pre-order before the meeting and not Manorhaven, I'll never know. As of a couple days ago, Manorhaven was locked out for ordering until August 21st. I have escalated this within Verizon and hopefully we'll be able to order within a week. I'll post when I find out, if anyone from Manorhaven cares. |

It shouldn't matter, since all areas are serviced by different garages! I know of two off the top of my head in Nassau County. One is on Glen Cove Road just N of Northern Blvd & the other is on Zeckendorf Blvd. I wouldn't worry too much. I am sure some NY techs can confirm or correct me. |

Rosyln garage covers great neck,port washington,manhasset,roslyn and glen cove. New hyde park garage and Zeckendorg garage backs them up. Unless there is a plan for us to go and help the techs in the city. There is no reason I can see why anyone would have to wait so long for an install. |

I have been signed up for FIOS for over a week. In my area (Old mill basin) they have been going door to door trying to recruit people. I could not sign-up fast enough.n The installation is starting here on 8/7/08. I am getting it installed 8/8/08. Cannot wait! Will stay in touch! |

There are currently 7 FIOS garages in Nassau County. None of them are helping out on NYC installs at this time. |

I believe there are techs assigned to different areas so the nyc installs shouldnt effect PW. I have a friend who has two friends that work for verizon fios and all they work on is PW.I cant wait till they start taking orders, its about time. |

I live in Bayside Queens [11360] and just placed an order for FIOS TV. I previously had FIOS internet and phone service. CSR gave me the triple play bundle for 12 months @ 94.99. Other option was 2 year @ 99.99.
Earliest installation date is 8/20/08 
I can't wait! |

Yes so far so good, i live in Staten Island N.Y and put my order in for Fios tv, and they gave me a install date of Aug 2nd, during the order process i bundled fios tv with internet and phone...got some savings. Fios service rocks from day 1, i hope fios tv wont be a disappointment. Bye Bye time warner....... |
