extending range of netgear wpn824

I am trying to extend the wireless signal of a netgear WPN824 but can't seem to find a range extender that supports the technology (MIMO). So I am wondering if theres a way to get another router to act as a range extender?

since I've read that it cant be used as a repeater for a wpn824 as of now. Can I plug in to the router and use the signal from that?
