Is there a Spell Checker for Version 3 other than the built in one. I miss my spell bound. Has anyone tried it in version 3? -- Any day above the grass, is a GREAT DAY. |

| You can use Spellbound II.
You will want the one modified by John Galt. ------------------------------- If it does not work then you are sol because the dev no longer supports it. -- "Facts beat FUD any day of the week and twice on Sundays". |

| I downloaded it to my desktop and all I've read says drag it into Firefox and it will install. This may sound dumb but how do you drag an item from the desktop into an open firefox browser? -- Any day above the grass, is a GREAT DAY. |

| You just drag the spellbound.xpi into any open Fx window.
It will trigger the install feature.
or
You can even put an extension or theme file in the profile/extensions folder and restart Fx and install from there.
or
Just open up the Extension Manager & click the install button and browse to your desktop and that spellbound file. -- "Facts beat FUD any day of the week and twice on Sundays". |

The extensions dictionaries I believe are the same ones in Fx.
You can also use OpenOffice Dictionaries witha minor modification. -- "Another day another abandoned thread" |
