OK....Im trying to set up a small server for gaming w. a few friends over the net(mainly DOD:Source an Cs:S to name a few) but I AM HAVIN HECK...i Forwarded all my ports correctly? following many a forum post and i still have no luck...my main quetion is, is there some other options I need to configue (NAT, Public LAN)Firewall is disabled. verizon dsl(which I called and confirmed no interference such as port blocking(necessary?who knows? but troubleshootin all the same) I have a dedicated server computer running xp sp2. Also gave up today and tried my hand @ Hamachi...still SERVER NOT RESPONDING when buddy tried to join LAN game forwarded 8080; please help!!:) |
