| Which PSP model?
So I've been looking on Ebay. I want to get a PSP to go with my PS3, so I can stream movies from the PS3 to the PSP and connect the PSP to my kids TV to watch movies (saves my dvd's). But I noticed there are a few models,
The PSP 1001 The PSP 2000 and the PSP 2001...
Which one should a person buy? I can't even find references to the different models on the sony site, or to the PSP 2001 model ....
Any ideas? I've been looking on ebay because I'd like to buy one that I could fix to save some cash. -- Where's th' DAFFY DUCK EXHIBIT?? |

| There are basically 2 PSP models. The PSP (original, the 100x) and PSP Slim (200x). I'd go for a PSP Slim. They're a lot nicer than the original PSPs, imo. Battery life is a tad better as well.
These aren't the best pictures, but it gives you an idea: »www.gamepro.com/news.cfm?article_id=122128
Here's some FAQ. I didn't read through it all, some it might be outdated but most of it looks pretty good: »www.pspzine.com/2007/09/09/faq-r···sp-slim/
I have the Silver Slim PSP and the original black fat PSP. I absolutely love the slim sliver one. The Slim models also are capable of video-out (composite and component), so if you're going to be watching a lot of movies, that may be something you want to look into. |
