Hmm...

I wouldn't mind this sort of thing so much if they weren't afraid of investing in FTTH (it would cost too much, wouldn't it?). If the time came that Verizon or AT&T bought out Qwest, I'd jump off. AT&T's incompetent and Verizon's DSL in my mind isn't as good as Qwest's, so I'd be turned to somewhere with reliable cable or FiOS.
