|  [ps3] A strange thing about the PS3 store ....
Today, I was looking at the E3 content on my PS3 at the PS3 store, and noted one of the HD videos in 1080 was 42GB in size. That means it is larger many PS3's can hold. I'm also reluctant to download a 42GB file due to Comcast caps.
It just seems a bit strange that Sony didn't compress their HD content a bit better. 42GB seems like a very huge file to download.

It's an E3 1080 video, a bunch of them seem to say sizzle. You are given a choice to download at 720P or 1080 I forget if it was 1080I or 1080P. I just thought 42GB was kind of large. Does anyone know what percentage of PS3's are 40GB or less?

42GB? Maybe that's just the freespace on your hard drive instead? When you download a video the UI asks where you want to save the video and it tells you the freespace on that drive, before it shows you the size of the file to download.
