BBR Logo Missing

Noticed that the BBR logo, normally in the upper left corner, is suddenly missing with FireFox. I opened IE 6 and discovered the same. Oddly, every few page clicks it does appear. I'm guessing it's one of those things that is cached and/or propagates the servers.

I'm not seeing it either. Firefox 3, IE 6, IE 7.

Looks like it may have been someone giving the old logo a face-lift.

Maybe it's changing back to DSLReports!

Update: I was correct! (took a while to find the old logo)

Mospaw See Profile is kindly helping with some new logo designs, I'm running this one up the flagpole to see how violent the kick back is on it. Minor variations in slogan, color etc are still possible.

I know the reasons why BBR is using dslreports.com rather than the other URL (ranking, if I recall), but having Broadband in the logo just seemed better than seemingly appearing that the website is dedicated and designed around one technology - "DSL". I'm not a DSL, nor cable, fanboy, but it would seem like "Broadband" was a much better logo to describe the website rather than seemingly making it appear it's specific to one technology. The term "DSL" may not be in the future, but "Broadband" still should be.

while you are playing with the logo (which i like) would it be to much trouble to ask to get the english in the mouse over corrected?

"Hey! you know we have a HOME PAGE as well, right? visit it!"

capitalizing the first letter of a sentence is pretty basic stuff. something more sophisticated or even a plain old "Please visit our home page" message might be better. how are these youngsters going to learn if we don't set a good example?

You got me there. But the DSL part overshadows the small print that defines the webpage. It's easy to look past.

That said, in the other thread, your slightly revised logo looks better, but that's just my opinion.

Thanks for fixing the mouse over.

I think I like the DSLReports logo better, but I'll find my way here regardless of which one you choose.

Is this related to the quick icons being missing underneath the logo on the front page only?

I guess it's text now, huh? haha
grrr
